Leroy preached, and there was no varnish, just humble, down-to-earth talk. Tried to go to his show later that day and found it had been cancelled for lack of interest. But I got to see his show a couple of days later. Unbelievable. One woman said at intermission, "I can't believe how good he is!" I was saying to myself, "I can't believe how much I'm enjoying this show." Leroy is a terrific entertainer and surrounds himself with other terrific entertainers. Always leaves me in amazement. Not only is he great to listen to but he is also a great guy outside of show business. Even on his own time he helped my youngest boy when he was just learning to play the guitar. And now he plays great. Chase will always remember his kindness. Even though we've moved from Branson I always have people ask me which show to visit on vacation there and Leroy New is always on my list! They were at my parents home ALOT ! And I enjoyed them as what I would call our own "HeHaw Show". If they knew the joy they gave the communinty of Selma,Indana and our family they would be surprised. As Bob Hope would say " Thanks For The Memories". Leroy,Larry, Hazel, Nancy, Ricky, and all their families are still a blessing to everyone they come in contact with. God Bless All Of You.
