BransonWebcast Episode #19
Guest: Flat Stanley
He’s a true American icon, whose travels have taken him around the world many times over… he’s Flat Stanley!
As the story goes, one night a young boy became flat during his sleep. While he was sad at first, he came to realize that this unfortunate situation allowed him to fold himself up into an envelope so he could be mailed off to visit friends and family in faraway places.
Our Flat Stanley was created by a young student named Heather from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Her teacher Mrs. Mingacci helped her address the envelope so he could be delivered to Branson, Missouri. During his visit, Flat Stanley took a few minutes to join Dave and Jim in this animated discussion to show pictures of all the fun activities he discovered for kids and families to do in the Ozarks.

I’d like to say thank you to my good friend Jim Barber and his partner, Dave Hamner….for creating this webcast. Flat was sent to Jim by a student, Heather, from our elementary school in Bucks County, Pa., which is where Jim called home for a few years. When asked to take Flat on a tour of the Branson area, we never expected to have him appear in his very own webcast! Thanks so much for making a little girl named Heather….and her family….very proud.

Dear Dave and Jim,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
The webcast you created was funny, creative, and informative! I love all the pictures with Jessica (and the jokes that went along with them!) As I watched the video with my husband and son, we were all hysterical as Stanley’s arm waved and he spoke from his mouth! You are both extremely talented and I can’t thank you enough for all the enthusiasm and effort you brought to the project!
It was certainly a one of a kind response!
Thank you again!
Mrs. Theresa Mingacci
