Roy Rogers Jr. and his son Dustin Roy Rogers will be featured guests on NBC’s Today Show on Tuesday, July 13th.  The family of legendary “King of the Cowboys” Roy Rogers will appear on the television program to discuss the upcoming auction of The Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum Collection.

The historic memorabilia from the cowboy hero’s estate is being sold by Christie’s in New York City.  This is a rare opportunity to own a valuable piece of historic memorabilia from two of the World’s most beloved western heroes, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans.

Among the hundreds of items to be auctioned is Roy’s World Famous performing horse Trigger, expected to bring up to $200,000. The famous palomino died in 1965, one day short of his 31st birthday. Trigger was most recently displayed in Branson, Missouri and was featured in each of Roy’s 188 movies.

Other items to be auctioned include Roy’s first guitar, his first boots, Bullet the Wonder Dog, and even the hand drawn music and lyrics to “Happy Trails To You.

Roy Rogers Jr. and Dustin Rogers perform live at the Mickey Gilley Theatre in Branson, Missouri and feature an incredible production of traditional cowboy music and stories about growing up with Roy and Dale.
