Not only is he a pure country singer, hit songwriter and hilarious comedian, he is also a gifted actor having portrayed Hank Williams Sr. in two, made-for-television movies. He has written many hit songs for artists such as Mel Tillis, Dean Martin, Jim Ed Brown, Crystal Gayle and others including the smash hit, “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.”
