Born to a musical family in Wylie, Texas, Clay Cooper grew up around live entertainment and began performing himself at the young age of fourteen. In 1986 he joined The Texas Goldminers and moved to Branson to perform at the Ozarks Country Jubilee. He went on to perform in several other Branson area productions including the Down Home Country Show, the Buck Trent Show, the Jim Owens Show and Country Tonite where he spent 9 years as the lead vocalist and emcee.

After 20 years in Branson, Clay now stars in his very own Clay Cooper Theatre. Stars of Clay Cooper’s Country Music Express include his talented wife Tina, their daughter Cassidy, son Colt, and a large cast of fantastic musicians, dancers and variety artists.
